FORESTDALE — At about 12:45 p.m. today, Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies responded to the BB&T Bank in the 1600 block of Forestdale Blvd to investigate a report of a robbery.
Deputies learned two men, armed with handguns and wearing masks, entered the bank and demanded money. The suspects then fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.
No vehicle was seen, and no other description is available.
There were no shots fired and no one was injured during the robbery. The investigation is ongoing and updates will be provided as they become available.
