TRUSSVILLE – High school football isn’t the only sport in action on Friday night.
Many sports fans will make their way to Cougar Stadium on the campus of Clay-Chalkville High School for the yearly rival clash between Hewitt-Trussville and the Cougars.
Following the football game, the Huskies’ basketball program will open the doors to Bryant Bank Arena for the third annual Huskies Hoops Hysteria event starting at 10 p.m. Both the girls and boys teams will take the floor for a “short scrimmage,” according to second-year girls’ head coach Tonya Hunter.
There will also be a 3-point shootout between the boys and girls team.
Admission to the event, which ends at 11 p.m., is free. The first 100 students to enter the gym will claim a free pizza and drink. Season passes for students and adults will also be on sale that night.
Season-long passes cost $30, with each additional pass costing $25, according to the program’s Twitter page.
