TRUSSVILLE – Girls (ages 3 through 15) interested in playing softball this spring are invited to register with the Trussville Girls Softball Association from now until Feb. 13.
To sign up, go to www.trussvillesoftball.org anytime until Feb. 13 or register in person on Saturday, Feb. 6 at Academy Sports in Trussville from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Players under five years old can play for $90 per person. Players registering for 6U through 15U cost $175.
For 6U through 15U players only, the second child gets $50 off and the third child gets half off.
Tryouts will be held on Feb. 21 at 2 p.m. and on Feb. 22 at 6 p.m.
According to TGSA Marketing Director, Jenn Virciglio, roughly 200 girls played last season, and she is hopeful that the participation will increase this spring.
