PINSON – The Pinson Valley bowling team fell to 1-1 on the season following a “tough” 6-1 loss to Gardendale on Wednesday evening at Super Bowl in Pinson.
The Indians finished with three strong outings from Jared Evans, James Hampton and Turner Shankels, but the result wasn’t good enough to derail head coach Barry Brake’s Rockets.
Evans posted a 167, Hampton bowled a 162 and Shankels finished with a 145, according to the team.
Pinson Valley was also scheduled to face Pleasant Grove on Tuesday until the Spartans canceled the match.
