CLAY — Friday marks the beginning of Clay-Chalkville Middle School’s girls basketball tournament.
At least 16 teams are set to do battle in two separate brackets. According to the school, both seventh and eighth grade teams will participate in the two-day tournament, which will conclude on Saturday. Champions will be awarded in both divisions.
Here are the teams currently committed to play: Clay Chalkville, Hewitt Trussville, Rainbow City, Bragg, Boaz, Leeds, Hayden, Centre, Pell City, McAdory, Rudd, Hayden, W.J. Christian, Westbrook Christian, Gadsden, Wellborn, and Talladega County.
