CLAY – According to the Clay-Chalkville High School football Twitter account, the Cougars’ dual-threat signal caller has lured in another scholarship offer.
The senior quarterback, who finished his prep career with 125 total touchdowns, received an offer from Tulane over the weekend.
“Clay-Chalkville senior QB, Ty Pigrome, offered by Tulane University,” read the tweet.
In Pigrome’s two years as a starter, he completed 335 of his 508 passes (66 percent) for 5,772 yards, 80 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. He ran the ball 306 times for another 2,603 yards (8.5 yards per attempt) and 42 scores.
Pigrome recently won the Alabama Gatorade Player of the Year award and holds offers from Indiana, Missouri, Troy and Tulane among others.
