TRUSSVILLE –It won’t be a repeat of Christmas Day, but chances for severe weather return to the forecast for Trussville, Clay, Pinson and the surrounding areas on Monday.
Jefferson and St. Clair counties will face a limited threat for severe weather with the window expected to be between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Monday. The National Weather Service in Birmingham says there will be a limited chance of tornadoes and high winds that could reach 60 mph.
At this time, we’re not expecting a widespread breakout of severe weather like we saw last Friday, but we’ll continue to keep tabs on this system as it makes it’s way toward our area.
