ALBERTVILLE – Behind a stellar performance from a sophomore guard, Hewitt-Trussville has downed the hosts of the Albertville Shootout to advance to the tournament championship game tomorrow night at Albertville High School.

After beating Albertville, 49-38, on Tuesday night, the Huskies will challenge Cherokee County for the top prize on Wednesday night at 7:30.
Damon Harper stole the show, finishing a memorable night with 30 points, 24 of which came from eight 3-point makes. He scored 15 of his points in the opening quarter thanks to five makes from behind the arc.
Josh Monski also delivered with 11 points for Hewitt-Trussville.
