“Couldn’t be more grateful to say that I’m committed to Austin Peay State University,” posted Williams.
Austin Peay State University is located in Clarksville, Tenn. The Governors compete Division I’s Ohio Valley Conference.
Williams will provide Austin Peay with quickness on the edge. As a senior in 2015, he led the Huskies with nine quarterback sacks and 13 tackles behind the line of scrimmage on his way to earning All-Tribune honors.
He showcased his ability to cover ground all season with 96 total tackles.
The Governors recently hired Will Healy as its new head coach. Former Murray State linebackers/special teams coordinator Brandon Cooper is believed to be Healy’s defensive coordinator, according to The Leaf-Chronicle.
