JEFFERSON COUNTY –Investigators for the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office teamed with the district attorney and representatives from the state attorney general’s office to execute a search warrant on a Forestdale business on Saturday morning.
According to a statement released by JCSO, “Just after 11 am on Saturday, a search warrant was executed at an electronic bingo center in the 1400 block of Forestdale Blvd. Twenty illegal electronic gaming machines, two televisions, an ATM, and several routers were seized.
Following a complaint received earlier in the week, authorities began an investigation that found the business was operating as an illegal gambling operation and led to the search warrant being issued.
No arrest were made and the investigation is ongoing.
