Trussville Gymnastics has only been open for a little over a year, but the business is already producing state champions.

Coaches Kristalyn Robinson, Ingrid Pfau and Gabriela Pfau led their girls to a first-place finish at the Alabama State Championships in December. The team competed in the level 1, small team division.
The championship roster is made up of Sarah Mulligan, Ren Petersen, Molly Gibson, Miley Moore, Olivia Mulligan, Shyanne Payton, Kiersten Pritchard and Marlow Martin.
Mulligan finished with an all-around score of 37.375. Her top performance came on the vault, where she landed a 9.525. Martin wasn’t far behind with an all-around score of 37.150. Gibson also finished with a strong meet, securing a 37.125 in the all-around.
Payton landed in the nine-point range in all but one of her routines, as did Pritchard. Mulligan did her best work on the floor exercise, sticking a score of 9.300. Petersen secured a 9.000 on the bars to go along with teammate Miley Moore’s 9.250.
