This is a weather update from the Trussville Gas and Water Weather Center for Monday night.
According to the National Weather Service in Birmingham, a strong cold front will move through on Monday a bring a chance of snow showers beginning Monday evening, mainly north of a line from Aliceville to Clanton to Lannet.
A few narrow, but persistent bands could cause isolated light snow accumulations, but the locations of these bands is highly uncertain. Most of the snow shower activity should diminish by 6 a.m. Tuesday except across the northeast part of the area where it could continue until noon on Tuesday.
We are expected a low of 27 overnight on Monday with temperatures rising to 35 on Tuesday.
