MOODY – The City of Moody Civic Center, currently under construction, will offer membership programs to be used in the fitness facility. Membership applications may be completed and submitted as early as April. Both online and paper applications will be available.
A Moody Civic Center Membership will include use of the Indoor Walking Track, Fitness Equipment Room, (equipped with cardio, weight and strength equipment), Racquetball Courts, Basketball Courts, Group Fitness Classes, and the opportunity to rent on-site meeting space and rooms for events and functions. Memberships will be good for one year. Special programming, certain fitness center programs and room rental fees are not included in membership pricing.
“The Civic Center membership application will be available to anyone who desires to join. It is our desire to include anyone in our community and surrounding area who wants to use our facility and by offering memberships with pricing for both residents and non-residents, we can do just that,” said Mayor Joe Lee.
Kim Bridges, who was brought on board to manage, develop programming and oversee the Civic Center says that additional information on membership rates and guidelines will be released in late March as well as information on operating hours and rates for the meeting and banquet space at the center.
