Warner Reeves Lindsey, age 79 of Center Point, AL passed away on March 13, 2016.
Warner was a member of Center Point UMC; he was an electrical engineer before retiring. Warner was an amateur mechanic and had a lifelong love for camping, boating and water skiing; he also enjoyed building Lionel model trains and collecting coins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Betty and Harry Lindsey.
Warner is survived by his wife, Joanne Peck Lindsey; daughter, Rita C. Denson (Chris); sons, Charles W. Lindsey, Barry R. Lindsey, and Jason E. Lindsey; grandchildren: Lindsey D. Holland (Drew), Jonathan Denson (Brittany), Ryan Denson, Ashleigh N. Lindsey, Alexis P. Lindsey, Adam N. Lindsey, Dolorean R. Lindsey.
Funeral service will be held at 2PM on Thursday, March 17th at Jefferson Memorial Chapel with visitation held one hour prior.
Burial will immediately follow at Jefferson Memorial’s adjoining cemetery. Reverend Peter von Herrmann is officiating.
