JEFFERSON COUNTY – Sheriff’s Detectives are investigating a sexual assault that occurred in western Jefferson County during the early morning hours of March 17.
The 24-year-old female victim reported that she had stopped at a convenience store in the 3800 block of Highway 25 in Montevallo. She was approached by a black male who identified himself only as John.
