According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, a single-vehicle crash occurred at 5:25 p.m. on Monday has claimed the life of a Barbara A. Holder, 52, She was killed when the 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt she was driving left the roadway and struck a tree.
Holder, of Jasper, who was not using a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash occurred on Sipsey Road, near the intersection of Mac Drummond Road, one mile west of Sipsey.
Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
