JEFFERSON COUNTY –Just after noon today deputies were called to a residence to investigate a report of a burglary.
The adult female victim reported that she had arrived home to see three white males leaving her garage. They stole tools from the garage in the 7000 block of Pocahontas Road and left in a black Ford Mustang.
A lookout was issued to surrounding law enforcement agencies for the suspects and the black Mustang.
At about 12:20 p.m., Helena police contacted the sheriff’s Office and reported that their officers had stopped a mustang matching the description given in the 5100 block of South Shades Crest Road.
When the car was stopped three white male suspects ran from the car.
Deputies and Helena police officers have taken two of the suspects into custody and are currently searching for the third.
