TRUSSVILLE – Weather permitting, June 14 at 9 a.m., the Alabama Department of Transportation will perform a bridge inspection on I59 at milepost 142.87.

The inspection will require the I59 northbound outside (right) lane and shoulder to be closed in the area of the work. Following completion of the work in the northbound direction, work will continue in the southbound direction in a similar manner.
Motorists are advised to consider using alternate routes, adjust arrival and departure times, observe work zone speed limits and other work zone signs, and use extreme caution in the area.
All travel lanes will be reopened to traffic no later than 3 p.m.

Sounds like the bridge over Cahaba river just past H T high school just before Deerfoot exit going north …Tuesday this week
