TRUSSVILLE –A two-vehicle crash at 8:45 a.m. on Friday, has claimed the life of an Odenville woman and injured two others.
Sue Ann Graham, 36, was killed when the 2002 Jeep Liberty, in which she was a passenger, collided with a 2004 Nissan Murano driven by Rodericus Obyran Carrington, 31, of Birmingham. Graham was pronounced dead at the scene.
Carrington was not injured. Bridget Michelle Phillips Layfield, 38, of Odenville was the driver of the Jeep Liberty. She was transported to UAB Hospital in Birmingham for her injuries.
A child occupant in the Jeep Liberty was injured and taken to Children’s of Alabama Hospital in Birmingham.
The crash occurred on Interstate 59 south in Trussville, just north of the Interstate 459 split. Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
