TRUSSVILLE – Trussville City Councilman Brian Plant filed for reelection to place four on city council Tuesday.
“It has been an honor and a privilege to serve the people of Trussville for the past 16 years,” said Plant.
Plant said in an email that his goal is to maintain good fiscal discipline and continue to focus on great schools and community safety.
“Trussville is a great place to live and raise a family and we have to keep it that way for future generations. Churches and family life are the center of our community and we should make sure that as we continue to grow and develop we never lose sight of that,” Plant said.
Plant said that he believes the council has a duty and an obligation to safeguard the community and to nurture and protect it for current and future citizens alike.
“My wife, Donnette, and I believe in this community and, like many of you, are proud to be raising our children here and to call Trussville our home,” Plant said.
