TRUSSVILLE – Friends of the Trussville Library are hosting a book sale August 12-14 in the meeting room at the library.
Patrons can stop by 9 a.m.-6 p.m. on Friday, 10 am.-4 p.m. on Saturday and 1-5 p.m. on Sunday.
Mary Sue Landman, Friends of the Library President, said selections will include hardback and paperback, fiction and non-fiction books.
“This will probably be the last book sale we’ll have before the planned library remodeling and expansion project begins,” Landman said. “We’re looking forward to the additional space and features the remodeled library will give patrons. But while renovation is under way, activities like sales will be curtailed. This event will offer readers some really good books at bargain prices.”
Landman said there will be recently donated books as well as some that have been stored, with most paperbacks going for .50 cents and hardbacks for $1.
“We won’t be averse to making a deal for quantity purchases,” Landman said.
Friends of the Library provides volunteers for library events and helps support library programs through fundraisers, such as book sales.
