HOKES BLUFF — A two-vehicle crash on Tuesday has claimed the life of a Centre Man.
Phillip Gary Davis, 52, was killed when the 2001 freightliner he was driving was stuck by a 2015 Ford, driven by Timothy Klopfestein, 52, of Wapakoneta, Oh.
Davis, who was not using a seatbelt, was pronounced dead on the scene, while Klopfestein was not injured.
The crash occurred at 1:50 p.m. on U.S. 278, at the 147 mile marker, four miles east of Hokes Bluff.
Alabama State Troopers are continuing to investigate.
