TRUSSVILLE –The Trussville Tribune, through a partnership with Birmingham Watch, has published the 2016 Voter Guide for municipal elections which includes ballots for 85 metro area cities. Â According to Virginia Martin, the guide covers the seven county metro area incorporating more that 500 candidates seeking over 200 offices.
“About 50 mayor’s offices are contested in the area, with about 128 men and women lining up to try to take those jobs. Voters will be choosing from among more than 400 candidates to fill more than 165 contested council seats in the metro area,” Martin wrote.
