TRUSSVILLE – The Trussville Police Department is investigating the burglary of the Zales Jewelry Store at the Pinnacle shopping center.

Captain Jeff Bridges with the Trussville Police Department said that sometime between 10 p.m. and 3 a.m. Sunday or Monday Zales Jewelry Store at Pinnacle Square was burglarized.
Responding officers said the front window had been broken, as well as five jewelry cases. Miscellaneous items had been stolen totaling approximately $7,000.
Both cases are under active investigation by the Trussville Police Department.

Springville has a serious problem with homes being broken into. My coworker’s home was just robbed a couple of weeks ago and they live way off of the highway so whoever robbed them really was brave.

Justin Williamson Exactly. I’m moving to Homewood right now (job related and downsizing house payments) and the crime rate is higher than Trussville. Strangely not one person has questioned that investment 🙂 I’m keeping Rental property in Trussville because I believe in the future of Trussville and wouldn’t be surprised at all if I lived there again one day.

Our property tax will keep the majority of criminals from moving here it works just as it should, and has for years ,however we can’t keep them from passing through trussville ,but those same crooks are wreaking havoc everywhere ,and right now they are trending out into secluded areas all around us .
