TRUSSVILLE -A two vehicle wreck at the intersection of Oak Street and Chalkville Road sent one person to the hospital on Wednesday afternoon.

Trussville police captain Jeff Bridges said a vehicle on Oak Street was attempting to cross Chalkville Road when the driver collided with a second vehicle on Chalkville. The driver of the first vehicle continued across the road, coming to a rest in the yard of a home on Oak Street.
One driver was transported to the hospital by Trussville Fire and Rescue. Their condition is not known at this time.
