From The Trussville Tribune Staff Reports
TRUSSVILLE – The Alabama Department of Transportation is beginning repairs to guardrails starting October 2, weather permitting.
Repairs will be made on the outside shoulders and median in the northbound and southbound directions from the I59 interchange in Bessemer to the I59 interchange in Trussville.
The work may require the closure of the outside (right) and inside (left) lanes at various times and locations in the area where the guardrail repairs are being made.
ALDOT said the work may require intermittent lane closure for up to eight weeks.
Motorists are urged to consider using alternate routes, adjust arrival and departure times, observe work zone speed limits and other work zone signs and use extreme caution.
