BIRMINGHAM – The Alabama Gun Collector’s Association Fall Gun Show will take place October 8-9 at the BJCC.
“This is the largest and best gun show in the southeast,” Brent Goodwin, AGCA Show Chairman said.
There will be 770 tables of all types of guns and ammo set up, spanning 90,000 square feet. There will also be displays of historical guns, for those who’d like to learn about the history of shooting.
The show offers a unique opportunity to buy, sell or trade any type of gun imaginable. From collectors, to shooters, to hunting guns, to rifles, shotguns and pistols, there is something for everyone at the Fall Gun Show. There will be new and used guns, as well as accessories like scopes, cases, lasers, lights and reloading supplies.
Goodwin said there are specialty guns that can be sold for up to $20,000, such as Henry Rifles or custom made guns, but there are also “run of the mill” firearms for casual gun owners.
“It’s open to the public, bring your family heirloom down to trade or sell and upgrade to a more modern gun,” Goodwin said.
Goodwin also said to wear walking shoes in order to cover all of the square footage of merchandise available for viewing and purchase.
“Come enjoy a unique opportunity to exercise your second amendment rights in the state of Alabama,” Goodwin said. “This is your second amendment right here at work.”
Doors open at 9 a.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday. Admission for adults is $9, and children 12 and under are free. All local, state and federal firearms laws apply.
