Upon arrival officers found the victim laying in the street suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the body. Birmingham Fire and Rescue transported Calhoun to UAB Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The suspects fled the scene prior to officer’s arrival.
Witnesses went to the administration building for further questioning.
