Will you all please start putting the city that these stories are happening in in the header of the posts? Given that you’re the Trussville Tribune, it makes people think that it’s happening in our immediate area.

Get over it, they are getting faces of criminals out that people in Trussville may know.

I don’t have to get over anything. You’re welcome to your opinion and you do not have to agree with me.
Judy Morrow Rice
I agree put where this happened !
Jason Lynn
I agree. I assume this is intentional though so you will click on the link as we have several Shell stations in our Trussville community. This happened in downtown Birmingham

I would still like to know where it was

Cicily, the dateline showing the originating area is in all caps of every story. Most of the time Facebook picks up the intro that includes the dateline, but on occasion it doesn’t.
Cicily Welch Mobley
I know that but you can type in your own introduction when you post a link. This happens frequently. With everyone’s busy schedules (working, etc.), often people want to check our local news just to see if anything is going on with the schools, etc. that we need to know about given recent events. I don’t personally have a problem with you all covering stories outside of the area because I spend a lot of time outside of the area but honestly I usually have already read those stories through al.com. All I’m saying is if you could include the location in the post it would save time and make the news more pertinent to what people are looking for.
