TRUSSVILLE — A routine traffic stop turned into an arrest Wednesday afternoon in Trussville.
An officer with the Trussville Police Department pulled over a vehicle after finding it had a switched tag at Winn Dixie on Main Street at 3:45 Wednesday, according to Detective Michael Bruce.
During the stop the officer confirmed the subject, a 35-year-old white female, had an outstanding warrant for a felony larceny charge with the Jefferson County Sherriff’s Office.
The subject was then placed under arrest and taken to the Trussville City Jail to await a transfer.
