KNOXVILLE, TENN. –According to multiple media reports, Butch Jones has been relieved of head coaching duties at the University of Tennessee. The report originated with Bruce Feldman of Sports Illustrated.
Brady Hoke is expected to be named as interim coach.
The Volunteers are 0-6 in the Southeastern Conference this season with a 4-6 overall record. Jones has gone 34-27 during his Tennessee tenure and is 14-24 in the SEC.
The Vols fell to Missouri on Saturday by a score of 50-17.
