TRUSSVILLE — St. Vincent’s Health System hosted a blessing and ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday for its new Trussville location.
The new outpatient center is set to open on Dec. 4, according to a release.
“Today is an exciting day as we build on our long-standing commitment to the Trussville community with an additional access point – St. Vincent’s Trussville,” said Jason Alexander, Senior Vice President of Ascension Healthcare and Birmingham Ministry Market Executive. “As a part of Ascension, we are focused on expanding out into the communities we serve so we can provide the care our patients need when and where they need it most.”
St. Vincent’s Trussville, a 31,753 square-foot facility, is located at 7201 Happy Hollow Road. Beginning on Dec. 4, the facility will offer primary care through a partnership with Northside Medical Associates, occupational health services and wellness services.
Additional services opening soon include: after-hours care through a partnership with Northside Medical Associates, diagnostics and physical therapy.
Several physician practices will also have offices at this new location beginning in early 2018, including Andrews Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center. Other expected specialties include: neurosurgery, nephrology and OB/GYN. Development and construction partners for the project include: Harbert Realty; Birchfield, Penuel & Associates Architects; and Brasfield & Gorrie Construction.
