From the Trussville Tribune staff reports
As the countdown to the Dec. 12 Alabama Senate election stretches on, a new poll shows Republican Roy Moore holding a 7-point lead over Democratic challenger Doug Jones, 51 percent to 44 percent.
The poll, conducted by Change Research, indicates that undecided voters are leaning toward Moore — who in a late November poll was leading Jones 49 percent to 44 percent.
According to Change Research, 11 percent of respondents said that they had changed their mind between the two candidates at least once over the past month. Seven percent say that they could still change their minds again.
You can find a full breakdown of the results — including percentages of those who believe the recent allegations of sexual misconduct by Moore are true, as well as the percentage of supporters who say that would dissuade them from voting for him — at Change Research‘s website.
