COLORADO SPRINGS, COLORADO — Amazon’s Alexa is joining up with a military-run program that “tracks” Santa Claus, the Associated Press reports.
Alexa — the computerized “personal assistant” feature on many Amazon devices, such as the Echo — will now interact with NORAD Tracks Santa, a volunteer-based military program located at the Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The program historically answers phone calls and emails from children hoping to discover Santa’s location.
Now, they can just ask Alexa — once their parents enable the function on their Echo devices.
