BIRMINGHAM — A Birmingham man who was shot two days ago has died as a result of his injuries, according to Carol Robinson.
The victim was identified by authorities Tuesday as 43-year-old Tepe Edwards.
Officers with the North Precinct went to the 1700 block of 32nd Place North around 7 p.m. Saturday. Edwards was taken to UAB hospital with a gunshot wound and was later pronounced dead Monday evening.
Authorities with Birmingham police say the shooting appears to be drug related, and there are no suspects in custody at this time.
