From The Trussville Tribune staff reports
TRUSSVILLE –According to the National Weather Service in Birmingham, there is a chance of light snow in the forecast for Tuesday afternoon and Tuesday night. Some accumulation is possible.
“Amazingly, we see some pretty good consistency in the GFS and European models,” Brian Peters of AlabamaWx.com said. “Both are forecasting precipitation in the form of snow chances behind the front. The European is somewhat more aggressive with the snow, but neither system is suggesting anything more a dusting to perhaps an inch.”
High temperatures are expected to rise to 40’s on Sunday, Monday, and early Tuesday, but will drop into the 20’s on Sunday and Monday. The low on Tuesday will be in the teens.
Any snowfall on Tuesday is expected to stick around as temperatures on Wednesday will remain below freezing throughout the day.
