HUEYTOWN — The Jefferson County Science Olympiad was held Saturday, Jan. 13, at Hueytown High School.
Pinson Elementary 2nd Grade Science Olympiad Team
Coaches are Missy Presley and Leslie Chatta.

28 elementary schools from Jefferson County competed in 33 events. Science Olympiad is for students from third to sixth grade.
Pinson Elementary is the only school with a team that was made up of only second graders, according to Pinson teacher Missy Presley
They competed in all 33 events.
Ava Allen and Jamie Kirkwood placed third in pond study, Adyson Fernandes and Tyler Hatmaker placed fourth on In Bloom and Chloe St. John and Ava Allen placed fourth on Science Detectives.?
