From The Trussville Tribune staff reports
TRUSSVILLE –Hewitt-Trussville High School’s Myles Mason has flipped his commitment from Mississippi State to the University of Arkansas.
Mason had been a longtime commitment to the Bulldogs before an offer came from Arkansas just over a week ago.
Dan Mullen, the MSU coach when Mason committed, has since left for the University of Florida.
Mason, a 4-star recruit, starred in the Huskies’ defensive secondary and was often featured on offense, as well. His head coach, Josh Floyd, is an Arkansas native having previously coached at Shiloh Christian in Springdale, Ark. before moving to Trussville.
