BIRMINGHAM –Cahaba and Paine elementary schools sent teams to their first math competition of the year at the Perennial Competition at Birmingham-Southern College. The event added up big for both schools schools with top 3 finishes.
Cahaba Elementary took second place while Paine snagged the 3rd place award.
“We are incredibly proud of the Cahaba Math Team and their coaches,” Cahaba principal Joy Tyner said via social media. “They now move on to a National Competition!”
Paine principal Tygar Evans was pleased with the “Goober Jelly” Paine Elementary math team’s finish, as well.
