BIRMINGHAM – A man who was killed in his backyard in Ensley has been identified, according to the Birmingham Police Department.
The victim was Ricky Parker, 58, who lived at the 1000 block of 46th Street Ensley where he was shot in the head area.
“Detectives learned neighbors reported hearing 2-4 shots around 7:00 am and later saw the victim’s grey 2004 Cadillac CTS drive down the alley,” stated BPD Lt. Sean Edwards. “Upon investigating, a neighbor found the victim in his backyard and called 911. A motive has not been established in this case.”
