TRUSSVILLE – A warrant has been issued for a man suspected in the robbery of a woman that took place at the Trussville Crossing Parkway in December of last year, according to Sgt. Mike Bruce of the Trussville Police Department.

Jermaine Sanchez Wimes is wanted for first degree robbery by the Trussville Police Department. This mugshot was taken in November 2017.
The warrant was issued through the District Attorney’s Office of Jefferson County on Jermaine Sanchez Wimes, 25, of Center Point. The warrant charges him with first degree robbery. His bond is set at $200,000.
On Dec. 2, 2017, at around 6:55 p.m., a man held a woman at gunpoint in the parking lot of Marshalls at the shopping center. A gun owned by the woman was stolen by the suspect before he left the scene in the passenger side of a silver Crown Victoria.
“Wimes is still at large and anyone with information about his location is urged to contact their local law enforcement agency,” Sgt. Bruce said.
