TRUSSVILLE – Under the leadership of New Generation Building owner Donnie Jones, a new RV and boat storage will be opening in March. Jones said that the new facility will be the only one to offer covered storage in Trussville.
“We just felt like there was a need for it in Trussville,” he said. “Because there are so many subdivisions with restrictions on boats and RVs. We can give them a safe, quality place to park it.”
When the facility is open, it will be lighted and powered. There will be a security system and options for both covered and open parking in a gravel area. Jones said that the spaces inside the covered area are 15 by 50 foot facility and will be open 24/7 for users to park and retrieve their vehicles at any time once they receive a key code.
Pricing will begin in charging $200 range per month, much lower than other storage places, he said.
Trussville RV and Boat Storage can take any model and size in a space that can hold up to 19 units. Sensors will be in place to turn on lights when users park their vehicles inside the covered area. There will also be an automatic gate to the storage.
“There are so many options up there,” Jones said. “It will serve every need for somebody with a boat or RV.”
A website has been set up, which can be found at www.rvboatstoragetrussville.com. The site is not yet complete but will feature more as completion for the storage approaches.
“We’re trying to think of different avenues to help the community,” Jones said. “We’re excited just to be able to provide a service to Trussville.”
Trussville RV and Boat Storage will be located at 7630 Commerce Lane. Anyone who wants more information can call 205-661-0444.
