PINSON – A teenager from Pinson that went missing recently has been found.
Jaylin Marbury, 16, went missing from the Deerfoot Cove subdivision in Pinson on Feb. 19. The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office believed that he had run away.
Marbury’s aunt, Linda Marbury, confirmed that he has been located and is safe. She said that he turned himself into a Department of Human Resources office. Marbury told the office that he was fleeing from alleged abuse in the house he was living in.
It is not known where he was found but he is currently in DHR custody.
