BIRMINGHAM — A man was injured in a shooting that took place on Sunday night, according to Carol Robinson. No suspects have been apprehended so far as officers from the Birmingham Police Department continue to investigate.
At around 8:22 p.m. on Sunday, police responded to a report of a shooting at a store on the 8200 block of Rugby Avenue. Officers found an adult man suffering from a gunshot wound at the scene along with a car parked at the gas pumps with doors open.
He was transported by Birmingham Fire and Rescue to UAB Hospital where he was treated for non life-threatening injuries.
No details have been released as to what led to the shooting.
