CLAY –According to a report filed with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, a home invasion robbery occurred in the 7100 block of Roundstone Drive in the Clay-Trussville area just north of Deerfoot Parkway on February 20, at approximately 11 p.m. The home is just outside the city limits of Clay and Trussville.
The victim reported that at least five males forcibly entered the residence while she was present. The report further indicates that the intruders were looking for money, and may have known someone else living at the residence who was not present at the time.
The victim described one intruder as a tall slender white male with blonde shaggy hair. According to the victim the other male intruders wore black clothing, ski masks, and possibly gloves. The victim believes at least one of the intruders spoke Spanish.
The report indicates that one of the intruders took the victim’s cell phone, along with personal items belonging to another resident.
Detectives obtained surveillance still images they believe picture three of the intruders and the vehicle in which they were travelling at the time this crime occurred.
