FORESTDALE — A man was arrested by deputies from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office yesterday after he was seen standing naked in his front yard. As he was being arrested, he was found by the deputies to be hiding a small plastic bag of crack cocaine in his ear.
At around 4:30 p.m. yesterday, deputies responded to a call of a man who was standing naked in his front yard. When they arrived, the deputies found the man, Warren Gunn III, 36, standing next to a pickup at a residence on the 2500 block of Palomino Lane in Forestdale.
As they questioned him, Gunn got inside the truck and began putting clothes on. He told them that he was not wearing clothes because he had ants on him. The deputies, however, found that he had no ants on him, according to the sheriff’s office.
They noticed that he appeared to be under the influence of a controlled substance.
Gunn was placed under arrest for public lewdness. After he refused to give his name, police searched and found his ID. They also found that he had an outstanding warrant for failure to appear on an unlawful possession of a controlled substance charge.
The deputies found the bag of crack cocaine in Gunn’s ear as they were walking him to the patrol car.
Gunn is currently being held at the Jefferson County Jail without bond. He now faces new charges of public lewdness and unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
