From The Trussville Tribune staff reports
Today is a warm, sunny Monday, giving us a break from the clouds of last week. Temperatures started out in the 70s and are now climbing into the 80s for the afternoon, according to AlabamaWx Weather Blog.
But that nice weather is expected to be short-lived as clouds and rain are expected to occur off and on during the rest of the week. Tuesday will be cloudy and breezy, with a possibility of thunderstorms late that night, though it will impact the northern part of Alabama mainly.
On Wednesday, the day will be less cloudy but will also bring some cooler temperatures. The forecast for the morning projects lows in the mid 30s. Northern Alabama will be impacted by a chance of frost.
On Thursday, sunshine will make a return for the day and temperatures will warm up to the 70s. Friday and the weekend on the other hand will go back to cloudy weather with a chance of rain on Friday night, though the weather is not expected to be severe. Afternoon high on Friday will be 65.
The weekend highs will range from 56 on Saturday to 70 on Sunday.
