PINSON — The Pinson City fest is slated for April 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Bicentennial Park.
The event will feature food, rides, a clown troop and activities for children, among others. Shoney’s and Chick-fil-A will be among those providing food for the festival. Cupcakes will be served to celebrate the city’s founding.
Students from Pinson Elementary will perform at 10 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 11 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
At 12 p.m. Pinson Mayor Hoyt Sanders and members of the city council will be present to recognize the Rudd Middle School basketball, football and track and field teams. All of the teams led undefeated seasons and will be recognized for their achievements.
City Fest will be hosted by the Clay-Pinson Chamber of Commerce. Pinson Bicentennial Park is located at 4200 Oak St. West.
