TRUSSVILLE –As we reported in The Trussville Tribune on Friday, a new Aldi grocery store in Trussville is not yet a done deal. But Aldi officials appeared before the Trussville Design Review Committee to have plans approved for a new store in the Homestead Village shopping center.

The design is similar to other new Aldi stores that business insiders say are comparable to 365 by Whole Foods. The new Aldi concept has been widely praised within the industry.
