The four suspects that were arrested in connection to the murder of Darryl Jermaine Thomas in Lipscomb have been identified by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office. This comes after the murder of Carlos Gray in Clay, who was believed to have been shot in an robbery. It is also believed that Thomas was connected to the shooting of Gray and that Thomas’ murder was in retaliation.
According to Jefferson County Jail records, Myzel Contest Arbuckle, of Sterret, was booked at 4:50 p.m. on charges of capital murder and first degree kidnapping.
Aeriol Lesean Barbee, of Hoover, is being held without bond on charges of capital murder and first degree kidnapping. He was booked at 10:39 p.m.
Cortez Dewayne Johnson-Clark, of Birmingham, was booked at 4:44 p.m. on charges of capital murder and first degree kidnapping.
Jalen Devantae McIntyre, of Pinson, is being held without bond on charges of capital murder and first degree kidnapping. He was booked at 9:03 p.m.
According to the sheriff’s office, the four are being held without bond.
